A worldwide Survey of Cultivated Metasequoia glyptostroboides Hu & Cheng (Taxodiaceae/Cupressaceae) from 1947-2007
has been published with 2535 data from nearly fifty countries collected in every continents of the world by July 25, 2007,
especially from West Europe and North America. We sincerely thank you for your kindly help and friendly effort,
and made this happened. The whole report is available by request. We continue to collect the data,
and your support and help are much appreciated, especially whose from the developing countries
in Africa, Asia, East, South and Southeast Europe, Central and South America - Thank you very much in advance!
Request for Cultivated Information of Metasequoia glyptostroboides worldwide in your local area, either a country,
state or garden / arboretum sightings. Records can pertain to either a single tree or numerous individuals on a plantation.
Please email us at jinshuangma@bbg.org with it's current height and circumstance at
DBH, with the date of cultivation, as well as detailed locality where you are! - Information will be combined into next report
of a worldwide survey currently being conducted, and your contribution will be recorded on the natural history of Metasequoia glyptostroboides.
